The Gawler Show is Gawler’s key tourism event and has been operating since 1854. It also remains South Australia’s largest regional show.
The Gawler Show is planned, managed and coordinated by a not-for-profit organisation and is run almost exclusively by volunteers, who are committed to reinvesting into the community.
The Gawler Show is traditionally held annually on the last weekend in August at the Gawler Show Grounds on Nixon Terrace, with crowd numbers of over 35,000 people attending the event.
Come and enjoy the free entertainment, show rides, show bags, petting zoo, Nixon's Animal Adventures, our Treasure Trail, visit our Agricultural Learning Centre, demonstrations, plus much much more.
