The Blue Ribbon Cookbook: Recipes, stories and tips from prizewinning country show cooks, by author Liz Harfull, is the first book to celebrate the tradition of show cooking in South Australia and the people behind it.

The 184 page, full colour illustrated publication features 53 cooks and their recipes as well as dedicated sections for every show in the State with historical photographs, memorabilia, contemporary show photos and cooking shots.

All of the featured recipes have won first prizes or championship ribbons; most have been created by the cooks themselves and are previously unpublished. Check out the 'secret' tips from the cooks and show judges about how to make the recipes work!

Published by Wakefield Press, the book is supported by the Agricultural Societies Council of South Australia and the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of SA Inc.
