The YP Shows Association show year runs from August to March of the following year. Spring shows are held at Kadina and at Minlaton and an Autumn show is held at Maitland.
Each Show society runs an individual CWA scone competition with the final held at a Show association function in May of each year.

Sheep Merino
Sheep Other
Handicraft (including Needlework)
Cookery
Jams & Preserves
Photography
Pigeons
Poultry
Juniors (under 15 years)
To qualify show competitors must enter two of the three shows held on Yorke Peninsula in the annual show year to gain enough aggregate points from each section they enter.

Rich Fruit Cake competition: 16th & 17th August 2025
To be held at the Copper Coast Show, Kadina Showgrounds, Corner Mines & Agery Roads, Kadina SA-now closed.
Genoa Cake competition: 21st March 2026
To be held at Maitland Show, Maitland Showgrounds Rogers Terrace, SA 5573
2025-2026 Association CWA scone finals to be held at Minlaton on the 31st May 2026-Venue and time to be decided.
2026-2027 Show Year:
YP Show Association Inc. Photography competition to be held at the Copper Coast Show 15th & 16th August 2026, Kadina Showgrounds cnr. Mines and Agery Roads, Kadina SA 5554. Open to all those exhibitors who enter at the Copper Coast Coast Show. The highest aggregate winner not only receives the annual association prize but also a $100 voucher from Copy King, Kadina.
