Description:

The 141st Strathalbyn Agricultural Society Show will be held on Monday the 3rd October 2011, and we are already busy planning a fantastic show for you!

Our show is located in the beautiful, historical township of Strathalbyn in South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula, approximately one hour drive from Adelaide.

2011 Attractions include:

The 2011 Strathalbyn Show will feature some great entertainment for all age levels and interests. 

On the Arena: 

• Official Opening Ceremoney - Annabelle Homer
• The Dally Doo's Rock and Roll Band, Cars and Dancers
• Horses in Action
• Police Historic Vehicles Display
• Mallee Axemen Wood Chopping

On the Secretary's Office Lawns

• Strathalbyn Town Band
• Cool 4 Kids - Children's entertainment at 1:00pm
• Face painting and portraits all day

Around the Grounds

• Animal and poultry exhibits
• Frank Jacob Sheep Shearing and wool exhibits in the sheep tent
• Fleurieu Road Safety Display
• Fleurieu Antique Rural Machinery Display

Admission Charges:

Adults: $7
Children (5-14 years): $2
Children (under 5 years): Free
Pensioners: $5
Membership: $15 (3 tickets)

Tickets can be pre-purchased from 1st September at Strathalbyn Visitor Information Centre, Strathalbyn Newsagency or Strathalbyn IGA, or at the gates on show day.
