:: 2010 Young Rural Ambassador Winner announced

The 2010 Young Rural Ambassador Award Presentation Dinner was held on Friday 2nd July 2010, where the winner of the State Final was announced.

William Denholm, representing Northern Areas was announced the winner, with Cherie Johnson, representing South East & Border as the runner up.

:: 2009 South Australian Rural Ambassador

AMANDA LOCK, representing the South East & Border Shows Association, was named the 2009 South Australian Rural Ambassador at the Royal Adelaide Show. Amanda hopes to use her role to prove to young people that they can achieve any goal they put their mind to.

The two runner-up places went to Heidi Crick and Andrew Walter, who both represented the Northern Shows Association. Other state finalists included Andrea Schmaal (Murray Lands), Kelly-Anne Taylor-Wilson (Southern), David Coyner (Central), Karmel Parsons (Yorke Peninsula) and Kimberley Galpin (South East & Border).

When cleaning out that old suitcase, box or chest of drawers please take the time to look for any Show related material - photographs, prize certificiates, prize lists, catalogues, ribbons, rosettes, medals or posters.
