Shirley Harvey wins 2008 Rich Fruit Cake State Championship

Shirley Harvey, representing the South East & Border association, took out the 2008 Champion Rich Fruit Cake at the State Final held on Thursday 4th September at the Adelaide Showground, Wayville.

The championship, which this year was held in conjunction with the Blue Ribbon Cookbook launch, was judged by Claire Stoyel from Parndana, Kangaroo Island.

Congratulations to all the semi-finalists on competing in this prestigious competition and many thanks to our valued sponsors Sunbeam Foods and Angoves.
