Aussie Letterbox Competition
The Agricultural Societies Council of SA (ASC of SA) has generously offered to sponsor the "Aussie Letterbox Competition" for the 2010/2011 Show season. The competition will run as usual and will be conducted at Association level with the winner and runner up competing in the State Final at the 2011 Royal Adelaide Show.
Competition Outline
- Competition conducted at a nominated show in each Association (10 Associations)
- Only one entry per person, no entry fee
- Entrants are only eligible to win one Association final
- The winner and runner up at Association level will compete at the State Final to be conducted at the 2011 Royal Adelaide Show
Judging Guidelines & Rules
- Letterbox mail opening must be between 90cms and 120cms off the ground
- Letterbox dimensions can only be a maximum of 1m wide x 1m long x 1.5m high
- Must be able to lie an A4 envelope flat inside, ie should be at least 23cm wide, 33cm deep and 16cm high
- Letterbox must feature a mail slot wide enough to fit mail through but not so large that a hand can reach inside
- Must be large enough for mail to be pushed fully inside by the delivery officer
- Must be secured with a sturdy lock
- Must be free of sharp or jagged edges

ASSOCIATION
Winner - $100 cash sponsored by ASC of SA Inc
Runner Up - $50 cash sponsored by ASC of SA Inc
STATE FINAL
Winner - $200 cash sponsored by ASC of SA Inc
Runner Up - $100 cash sponsored by ASC of SA Inc
